Hello World!

Hi! Thank you for visiting my little corner of the world. I will use this space to reflect on all things school and library. I will give you the great, the mediocre and the ugly truth.

I am nearly on my 10th year as a librarian and I feel like I am just now hitting my groove. My goal for my students' library is to be a safe space where they can see themselves reflected in books, experience different cultures, and develop empathy for others. I have also come to understand the desperate need for a close partnership with PTA and

the absolute requirement to include student voice in book selection,organization, and programming.
